Kate was admitted as a solicitor in 2013 after completion of a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Communications from the University of Canberra. Throughout Kate’s time at University she was employed as a paralegal at a large international law firm which provided her with experience in many areas of practice. Thereafter Kate has practised predominately in family law and estate matters.
Kate joined Phelps Reid Foster Johnson in 2015 with a keen interest in family law, both property and parenting matters and was appointed a Senior Associate in 2017. She is currently undertaking a Masters of Law in Family Law which is deepening her understanding of complex family law issues.
Kate forms strong relationships with her clients by providing them with both knowledge and reassurance. She guides her clients through the maze of out of Court solutions such as mediation, Family Dispute Resolution and Collaborative Law and she is a skilful advocate if Court proceedings are necessary.
